Our Mission

31356711-katzen-persoenlichkeit-besitzer-2mMqhC6X8EBG.jpg

Angelina Haspel is a very passionate and dedicated person. Even as a young woman, she traveled the world for years as a missionary on a missionary ship.
She lived in the Philippines for a while and worked with street children. She then worked as a missionary in the USA for twenty years and subsequently studied art photography.

When Angelina came to Denia eight years ago, she was horrified by the pitiful condition of the street cats. So she began feeding them and, some time later, founded the charity "AAA"together with her sister Rani.
Angelina Haspel is the officially registered cat caretaker for the villages "El Verger" and "Els Poblets".

When some of the street cat colonies were displaced and the cats lost their homes, Angelina acted quickly and pragmatically.
She rescued the cats and gave them a home in "cats-homeland". Here, the "AAA" now cares for abandoned and sick street cats on a voluntary basis seven days a week.
In the morning, the fifteen cats are fed, cared for and, if necessary, taken to the vet in their own station.
There's even a special quarantine station for cats with AIDS who were abandoned because of their illness. Every afternoon, the cat colonies in "el Verger" and "els Poblets" are fed and cared for as well.

Every Sunday, Angelina goes to the flea market in Pedreguer to sell donated items. This income is urgently needed to buy food for the following week (approximately €150 per week). The association currently covers veterinary costs from its own personal funds.

Therefore, our request is: Support Angelina in her incredibly valuable work!
